No. 21: Where's Lee? (Aug. 26 - Sept. 1)

Launching entrepreneurs in Nashville

Looks like Gov. Bill Lee might be taking some time off next week to enjoy the last week of summer. (Yes, autumn doesn’t start for a few more weeks, but we all know the first Saturday* of college football next weekend is the start of fall, whatever the calendar and the temperature and the rotation of the earth on its axis in orbit around the sun actually say.) Lee’s one and only public, announced event next week is at the annual Launch TN 36|86 Entrepreneurship Festival in Nashville Thursday. Expect much conversation about what a GREAT place Tennessee is for business and zero mention of the very low wages workers here receive.

(*No, the two games tomorrow don’t count. It’s only two games. That said, go Miami.)
